Steve Bishop, President of Bishop Clean Care, has been with the company full-time since 1975, but started as a "child laborer" in his family's business many years before that. His father and uncle founded Bishop Cleaners in 1954, and the business has been a mainstay in South Georgia ever since. Steve is certified by the Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration Certification (IICRC) as a Master Textile Cleaner, Master Fire and Smoke Restorer, Master Water Damage Restoration Technician and a Practicing Carpet Inspector. He is certified by the Flooring Consultants and Inspection Training Services as a Flooring Inspector. Additionally, Steve is a graduate of the Drycleaning and Laundry Institute's (formerly, the International Fabricare Institute) Spotting Resident Course, Finishing Resident Course and Management Course. He has served Valdosta and Lowndes County as President of the Valdosta-North Rotary Club and the YMCA, and has also served as a Board Member of the United Way and Chamber of Commerce. He is a member of First United Methodist Church, where he has served on the Administrative Board, the Finance Committee and as a Sunday School Teacher. His primary community service avenue these days is as a discipler of men, through a ministry organization called Fishermen.
Karen Bishop, Vice-President and Finance Director of Bishop Clean Care, has been working full-time with the company since 1984, and is responsible for all the company's accounting needs.
Andy Bishop, Vice-President and Secretary of Bishop Clean Care, is responsible for overseeing all operations within the company and insuring that the highest quality & performance standards are maintained by our entire team. Andy holds certifications by the IICRC in the following areas: Master Textile Cleaner, Master Fire and Smoke Restorer, Master Water Restorer, Applied Microbial Remediation, Odor Control, Color Repair, Fire & Smoke Restoration, Water Damage Restoration, Carpet Repair & Reinstallation, Applied Structural Drying, Fire & Safety, Upholstery & Fabric Cleaning, Commercial Carpet Maintenance, and Rug Cleaning. Andy has also attended Clean Care Seminars' Management & Marketing course, as well as their Disaster Management & Marketing course.
Bonnie Bishop, Office Manager of Bishop Clean Care, is our resident "Jack-of-All-Trades." She's most likely to be that friendly voice you hear when you call in to schedule work with Bishop Clean Care. If there's a question to be answered that no one seems to have an answer for, Bonnie is usually the one we go to for clarification!
Paul Fornes, Manager of the Bishop Cleaners division of Bishop Clean Care, is responsible for our Dry Cleaning and Laundering operations and has been with the company since 1999. He received extensive training from drycleaning industry expert Carolyn Schwass, who was brought on-site, to make sure that Bishop Clean Care is able to provide a level of knowledge and expertise unsurpassed in the local drycleaning industry. As a result, Bishop Clean Care has the reputation of being the place to go if you've got something unique to be cleaned. Of course, Paul is also eager to process those "everyday" cleaning needs, since that's what we've been doing since 1954!
Julie Young, Cleaning Specialist for the Bishop Cleaners division of Bishop Clean Care, is primarily responsible for cleaning all leather and wedding gowns. Additionally, she cleans formal wear, uniforms, bedspreads and just about anything else you can imagine. She has been with the company since 2005 and has recieved extensive training in wedding gown and leather cleaning.
Steve Folsom, Senior Inspector for Bishop Clean Care, is responsible for inspecting carpet, upholstery, area rugs, hard floors and other surfaces prior to setting a cleaning date. Many cleaning companies will give you a price over the telephone, only to change that price once they arrive at your house. Steve makes sure that all your questions, including pricing issues, have been answered prior to cleaning. Steve is certified by the IICRC in Floor Care, Water Damage Restoration, Carpet Cleaning, Upholstery & Fabric Cleaning and Rug Cleaning.
Josh Kewley, Senior Cleaning Technician for Bishop Clean Care, holds the following certifications by the IICRC: Journeyman Textile Cleaner (carpet & upholstery), Journeyman Water Damage Restorer, Carpet Repair & Reinstallation, Rug Cleaning, Odor Control, Floor Care, Upholstery & Fabric Cleaning, and Applied Structural Drying.
Greg Powell, Cleaning Technician for Bishop Clean Care, holds the following certifications by the IICRC: Carpet Cleaning Technician, Applied Structural Drying, Water Damage Restorer, Upholstery & Fabric Cleaning. Greg cleans carpet, rugs, floors, upholstery, and fire & water damage content and structures.
Della Horton, Supervisor of our Fire Restoration Team, is in charge of making sure that all fire damaged homes, businesses and contents are cleaned to their pre-loss condition...usually better! Della has been with Bishop Clean Care since 2010, and is well known for her drive to make sure that her customers are well-satisfied when she leaves their home.
